Write Posts that are Deliciously Amazing
They say content is king, so let’s make that king your beetch.
Arguably, I think the things that make a post Amazing as opposed to eh, from a writing standpoint, are the following:
- It’s a Magnet: Click-Worthy Titles that People Cannot Resist
- It converts: the copy makes people want to buy or click
- I know what the post is about in 3 seconds
- You don’t sound like everyone else
- You give me secrets I’ve been dying to know
- Humor makes me happy

Keyword Research
Keyword Research
Before you write posts for your blog, it’s usually highly suggested for SEO reasons to do some keyword research and kind of make an outline from there. The idea is to find out what people are already searching, but what not too many people have already answered.
But also, keyword research gives you insights to what people are actively searching for helping you discover their needs, which in turn improves your empathy, your ability to resonate, and possibly help guide you into more relevant product creation and offerings.
METHODS & TOOLS
I USE FOR CONTENT PLANNING
I usually go to Pinterest to see what’s trending and upcoming seasonals by searching broad terms. Then I try to think of sister content to that stuff. Then I use UberSuggest and Google + Keywords Everywhere, flip flopping looking for good question ideas, keyword wording, etc. Then I pop back over to Pinterest and search my top choices to make sure the content that it pulls is being searched, not spammy, and in line with what I am doing.
SEO
Honestly, the best thing you can do for SEO is
- RankMath Plugin
- Lyrical Host’s SEO Course (Affiliate Link)
But the gist is when you write posts, you want a “focus keyword,” and you want to mention it in the Title, in the Meta, the first paragraph, one to two headings, in the alt tag on an image, and once every 100 words within the text. You also want to have a couple outbound links to reputable sites with good Domain Authority, several internal links to other pages or posts on your site, and you want as many links going to you as possible.
This is why I suggest RankMath because each WordPress instance where you write posts, it gives a list of SEO things you could be doing — quickly showing you what you still need or might have forgotten. It’s like a checklist that updates as you type.
Invoke Feelings
When you write posts, your main concern needs to be to provide awesome, useful content that invokes feelings.
People love things that make them feel, and in the world of blogging, being able to invoke feelings as you write posts is a huge factor to success.
Ways to do this include…
- Hitting the pain points
- Using emotional keywords
- Telling a story
- Imagery (utilizing all 5 senses)
- Hitting aspiration
- Providing a sense of community
- Exclusivity
- Tapping into Identities
- Roleplaying
- Psychology
